The white dress was one of the final contenders for my wedding dress! It is beautiful, lightweight, and comfortable. I would have been entirely happy to walk down the aisle in this one but ended up choosing a slightly different style.Order your regular size. I ordered a size up (L) based on the charts, which turned out to be a mistake as the waistband and arm holes were very loose. My regular size (M) fit perfectly. The dress has three layers of fabric: polyester lining, plain tulle, and then the embroidered layer on top. There are tulle flowers sewn to the top layer along with the embroidery. The bottom layer by itself would look quite cheap, but it’s so pretty with the other two layers over it. Sleeves are made of the middle and top tulle layers, and the arm holes are wide enough for gals with thicker upper arms and shoulders. I found the neckline very flattering. The waist is a good height, not too tight under the bust and sloping down to a little lower in back. The bodice fabric is loose in back down to the waist, which makes the top of the dress look flowy, matching the skirt. I tried a few bras with it and the sports bra actually looked best. The white skirt is not see-through even in daylight, although if there’s light directly behind you your legs will be silhouetted — I think that’s true of most fabrics. The skirt is a couple inches longer in the back than in the front which looks great with heels. The skirt skimmed my shoes, but on shorter gals it might even trail a bit. Can’t recommend this dress enough, it is so pretty. I was very pleasantly surprised.
